The Sanbornton Historical Society offers a variety of programs and events throughout the year, focusing on preserving local history and engaging the community.
All are welcome to attend that delve into the history of Sanbornton and the surrounding region. These talks are often given by local historians, community members, or experts, and they cover a range of topics, from early settlers and the development of the town to stories about notable figures in Sanbornton's past. These talks provide an educational and engaging way for the public to learn about the area's rich history.

Our annual holiday event is community favorite, offering a variety of handmade goods, including jewelry, textiles, candles, and seasonal decorations made by local Sanbornton artisans. This event takes place the first Saturday in December. The Christmas Fair is happening on the first Saturday of December. More details to come soon.

This fun event that brings together people for a festive and sweet cause. Local residents bake unique homemade cookies and participants their favorites to fill a bag with bakers dozen. Held in conjunction with the Holiday Craft Fair, the proceeds help fund the various projects sponsored by the Historical Society. This event takes place the first Saturday in December.
